All our boat tours depart from the harbour in Sørvágur on Vágar island. Choose where you are travelling from and see the best ways to reach us — by bus, taxi or car.

The blue intercity bus departs from the bus terminal (Farstøðin), a short walk from the cruise berths. In Sørvágur it stops at Úti á Bakka by the Effo station — a 5-minute walk to our boat. Tickets on board.

Drive north through Kollafjørður, through the Vágar tunnel (toll — see tunnil.fo) and past the airport to Sørvágur. Free parking at the harbour.

There is no direct bus from Runavík to Vágar. Take a local bus to Tórshavn bus terminal and change to route 300. Check both timetables and connection times before travelling.

The easiest option from the cruise port. Book a private taxi in advance via the Bil Taxi app, +298 32 32 32 or taxi@taxi.fo — write "Sørvágur harbour" as your destination and book your return at the same time.

Drive through the Eysturoy tunnel — with the world's only undersea roundabout — towards Tórshavn, then continue via Kollafjørður and the Vágar tunnel. Both tunnels are tolled (tunnil.fo).
Allow approx. 2 h 30–3 h in total
Take route 400 (or the 401 express) to Tórshavn bus terminal and change to route 300 towards the airport and Sørvágur. Check connection times before travelling — departures are limited.

Drive through the Norðoy tunnel, the Eysturoy tunnel and the Vágar tunnel — all tolled (tunnil.fo). A scenic drive across four islands. Free parking at Sørvágur harbour.

Route 300 stops right outside the terminal and continues to Sørvágur (Úti á Bakka by the Effo station), a 5-minute walk from our boat. Check departure times against your flight arrival.

Rental cars are picked up at the airport. Follow the main road west to Sørvágur — you will see the harbour on your left as you enter the village. Free parking at the harbour.

Travelling light? The airport lies just outside Sørvágur. Follow the main road west into the village and continue down to the harbour — a pleasant, flat walk with views over the fjord towards Tindhólmur.
Please allow extra time and arrive at the boat 15 minutes before departure.
